Deepwell, Rosemarie

Largely self-taught, I have benefitted from local art classes and professional advice from
Norman Rechter.

I began by exhibiting pen and wash drawings of Old Headington and local scenes.
These led to commissions, including one from the fellows of Green College for
a painting of the Observatory Tower which was presented to Mr.Green the benefactor.

For some years now I have been using watercolour in a variety of ways including
Pointillism. While exploring this medium I am aiming for simplification and finding more about

Love for trees and woodland. I exhibit regularly in Oxford Artweek.
