Jim Robinson

I am self taught artist who works from a home studio. I tend to work in mixed media (watercolour pencil, inks and gouache or acrylics) and chose local scenes for my inspiration whether that means Oxford or my village. I work to commission with artworks in private collections worldwide. I also
tutor an art class at a city community centre once a month and take part in charity art exhibitions such as Sobell House’s My Lovely Postcards.

I have exhibited with Oxford Art Society and during Oxfordshire Artweeks. I am also a photographer and have been photographer in residence for Oxford Festival of the Arts and the Cowley Road Carnival. My favourite artist is Kurt Jackson from whom I also draw inspiration.
