Rona Marsden

Rona uses a mostly monochromatic palate of oil on canvas to paint images of people. She is interested in the inner psyche and in capturing a particular mood. Rona’s art exhibits a level of precision reminiscent of marble sculptures, and her high-contrast greyscale palette is a testament to black and white photography. However, her work is not photorealism, instead it aims to capture that indescribable essence of a person that perfect representation can often miss.
