Steven Daggitt

I have always painted but the themes of my work tend to change every few years. Following some time spent in Australia I produced work inspired by the landscape there. This was followed by a period of still-life painting.

For the past few years I have concentrated on scenes in Kidlington, Oxford and London. These are painted in the studio after drawings and photographs are made on-site. Some other works are based on places in Europe that I have visited.
