The Royal Society of Marine Artists has selected Penryn River (60 x 60cm) by Ron Ford for the 2020 Exhibition, from 30 September to 10 October 2020 at the Mall Galleries. Ford says: ‘This is the result of an experiment about the boundary between painting and drawing. It started with a sketch from my Wharfside studio, but the content was substantially modified by the process. I used Derwent Acrylic inktense Blocks for most of this painting/drawing. Whilst I have exhibited work at the Mall Galleries in London before, this is the first time I’ve exhibited with the RSMA.’
