Artists who have had work selected for at least two Open Exhibitions are considered for membership by a further selection panel. Membership is by invitation.

Dianne Frank
I am a botanical artist, working primarily in coloured pencil. Since 2011 I have been a member (now fellow) of the Society of Botanical Artists with whom I exhibit annually.
In keeping with the long tradition of botanical art and illustration, I aim to show detail and accuracy in my work. While some of my drawings could fit fairly comfortably within the genre of botanical illustration (showing the relevant aspects of the whole plant), most of my work would be considered to be ‘plant portraits’.
I am self-taught: hopefully learning and improving through trial and error.
