Profile picture

Ron is a contemporary visual artist who combines conceptual and traditional approaches in his art practice.

Often working at the boundary of abstraction and figuration, he creates a detachment from the material world, giving the viewer freedom to respond emotionally to his ambiguous narrative spaces. He allows meaning to unfold through immersive research, intuitive use of materials, and social engagement.

His work weaves together threads of concern for the fragile uncertainty of life, the perilous state of the environment and the nature of time.

He has exhibited widely in the UK, and regularly at the RI, RWS, RWA and RSMA. He graduated from Falmouth University with an MA in Fine Art in 2012 and has been a member of OAS since 2008.
