Artists who have had work selected for at least two Open Exhibitions are considered for membership by a further selection panel. Membership is by invitation.

carrie stanley
Carrie is a practising fine artist and mentor currently working from a studio collective based in rural Oxfordshire. She is an expressive figurative oil painter and the focus of her work is as much about the visceral quality of paint and mark making as it is the subject matter.
Carrie studied at the Lorenzo di Medici art institute in Florence and is currently a student on the Turps banana correspondence course 2020 - 2022. Recent collaborations include contributor (written essay and grief workshop facilitator) to ‘the Aerodrome’ exhibition at Ikon gallery, Birmingham 2019. Also contributor to ‘A memorial to Michael Stanley’ prose and environmental sculpture project with Alec Finlay, Milton Keynes Gallery 2019.
