I have always had a particular interest in oil painting.  I trained at Camberwell College Of Art and Goldmiths in the 1980s and completed a BA Degree in Fine Art.  I have continued to paint on an ad hoc basis and my interest lies in light, colour and paint texture.

I enjoy painting both landscapes and portraits and have been told I have the ability to get into the personality of each subject.  I attempt to apply a sensitive approach to my paintings and be imaginative with colour, using a warm, rich palette to express my emotions.  Each work expresses the goal in creating a moment which is rich in colour and the bold brushstrokes and confident use of paint evoke a playful energy that portrays my zest for life.

I have successfully won two “wild card” heats in the Sky Arts Landscape Programme in 2015 and 2020. It was great fun!

Antony is happy to accept commissions.
