Profile picture

While living and working in London, Claire studied printmaking first at The City Lit, and then at Morley College.

She enjoys experimenting with a variety of print processes, specialising in etching, but also using collagraph and linocut or a combination of different methods.

She draws her inspiration mostly from the natural world, often developing a series of prints around a theme such as trees or water. Interpretation varies from the literal to the more abstract.

In addition to printmaking she enjoys painting, and ceramics.

She now lives in Oxford and is a member of Oxford Printmakers Co-operative.
