I trained at the Oxford College of Art which has now become part of Oxford Brookes University.

I have been a member of the Oxford Art Society for 20 years and past Secretary. I regularly exhibit with them. I am also a member of the C21 Group.

I have lived in Oxford most of my life; my Mother, Lorna Fiske Wigney was a talented Oxford portrait painter.

For a time a move to Westminster meant I was able to paint with Westminster School’s common room art group.

I have shown and sold my paintings during Artweeks on many occasions, in and around Oxfordshire. My work has also been mentioned in the Oxford Times, and several Oxford Colleges have exhibited my art.

I paint landscape and still life, but my preferred subject has always been the human face. Painting is a never- ending learning experience, which I pursue with light and colour and hope the experiment never ends. I paint in oil, watercolour and pastel, but my preferred medium is oil.
