I am a self taught artist working from a home studio in a village in South Oxfordshire. I work in mixed media and acrylics and favour narrative drawings and paintings of people in landscapes and cityscapes. Local landscapes and allotments scenes also attract me mainly because they evoke a presence and atmosphere that changes through the seasons and times of day. I like to create both texture and atmosphere in my work.
