Originally from Brittany, I live with my family in Oxfordshire where I pursue my passion for sculpture.
A lot of my inspiration is drawn from the wildlife around me. I have always been fascinated with forms and movement and I enjoy reflecting this in my sculptures. I like to explore various facets of sculpture from the sensitivity and dynamism of the human form to humour in animals or the pleasing shape of fruits.
My favorite material is plaster but I also work in clay or wax and my sculptures are then cast in either bronze or bronze resin. The sculpture takes form and evolves as it is created and the final creation is a moment captured.
My work has been exhibited and sold in the UK and abroad since 2007. I have been extremely fortunate to exhibit in a number of prestigious and exclusive gardens including Savill Garden, Kiftsgate Court Gardens, Hidcote NT and RHS Wisley just to mention a few.
Marie is happy to accept commissions.
