Profile picture

Sally is based in Oxford. She was formally trained at the Colchester institute of Art & Design (1995-1997) and later at the City Academy for the Arts in Rotterdam (SKVR) from 2001 to 2013. For the past 15 years Sally has largely focused on Zinc plate etching.

Since 2014 she has been an active member of Oxford Printmakers Co-operative (OPC) as well as participating in Oxford Artweeks and the Oxford Arts Society.

Sally also has an academic background in Earth Sciences both at the Universities of Oxford and Reading.

To this day the Physical and Natural World is her focus and each of her topics is an attempt to fundamentally understand her observations.

Sally prefers Zinc to Copper plate etching because it gives more scope to different types of mark making.

Sally is happy to accept commissions.
