A longing to convey the experience of being in the landscape and season led to my landscape art practice.

I abstract landscapes into the torn forms of paper collage- using both ‘found’ and painted paper.

I developed this process by experimenting with the striking juxtapositions of form, space and colour that collage throws up. The essence of the landscape- its distinctive form and seasonal aspects- emerges.

I have been exhibiting for 20 years; my last exhibition was at the North Wall in Summertown last September. I am represented by the CareyBlythe Gallery in Oxford and The Front Room Gallery in Brancaster Staithe, Norfolk.
