Alan Kidd NDD
Alan studied at Walthamstow School of Art, and was fortunate to benefit from tutors like Peter Blake, Fred Cuming and Ken Howard and Anne House.
In addition to painting landscapes, still life and portraiture in oil, watercolor, acrylic and pastels he also enjoys working in clay to produce figures and portrait heads from life.
Recently he has been creating mono woodblock prints using acrylic paint on various media including paper, canvas and board.
Exhibitions: Patching’s Farm, Nottingham; Montesson, France; Brussels Belgium; at various local exhibitions in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire including various exhibitions at The Obsidian Art Gallery.
As well as many private collections, Alan's work also hangs in public collections, namely, Aylesbury Vale District Council Offices and Stoke Mandeville Hospital, Bucks. Two of his works were purchased by The House of Lords Art Collection.
Alan is happy to accept commissions.
