OAS Member Andrea Bates raises £3000 for Ukraine’s Humanitarian effort

We are extremely proud to share the news that one of our own, Andrea Bates, has triumphed yet again in her #ArtistsWithUkraine project.

Pictured below alongside her work, Andrea who has been a member since 1974, exhibited work in her own converted barn gallery in Enstone in May and managed to raise about £3000 in aid of Ukraine by selling unmounted prints and unframed oils alongside her leading exhibition. She tells us that the visiting public responded well and she was able to forward £3000 to the DEC, specifically for Ukraine.

Her exhibition will still be up for the rest of the summer and she encourages people to come and visit her studio, although do ring first (01608-677231) so she can be there to welcome you and show you around. Her studio/gallery is at Hillside, Oxford Road, Enstone, OX7 4NE, opposite the Artyard pub (formerly known as the Harrow), with parking in the side road or the pub car park.

Thank you so much, Andrea, we look forward to hearing from you about how the rest of the exhibition has gone!
