“Philip Guston (1913-1980): History and the Art of Painting”

Presented by Professor Karen Lang, Slade Professor of Art 2020

Philip Guston is the theme of the 2020 Slade Lectures which will once again take place in Hilary term at the University of Oxford.  The lectures will take place every Wednesday at 5pm, in Weeks 1-6.

All are welcome to attend!  No Booking is not required.  Please arrive in time for the 5pm start.  Lectures are normally one hour in duration. All of the six lectures will take place at the Mathematical Institute, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG. For directions, please view here.

Please note that photography/recording is not allowed during these lectures.   An informal drinks reception will take place after the 5 February lecture.
